Rock the Nite
ROCK THE NITE
On Friday 19th August The Duke Bar in Warrenpoint hosted the fundraising event 'Rock the Night' with all proceeds in aid of suicide prevention and donated to PIPS Newry & Mourne (Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self-harm) the amount raised totalled £1,842.00.
This event featured several local bands who offered their talents to help raise funds and create greater awareness of the issues around suicide. The event was jointly organised by Florence Hanna and her son David and supported by many friends, family, volunteers and local businesses
In addition to the wonderful entertainers, fantastic spot prizes were also donated by local businesses and available in a raffle on the night.
PIPS Newry & Mourne would like to extend their grateful thanks and appreciation to Florence, David and all who supported the event
