Clonduff Vintage and Classic Car Club

Clonduff Vintage and Classic Car Club members presented cheques for £1,800 to each of three local Charities, Southern Area Hospice Services, PIPS and The Irish Pilgrimage Trust Group 93, at a presentation ceremony in the Canal Court on Thursday night last.

The money was raised from the Club’s Annual tractor run and Family day held on Easter Monday. Club Chairman, Paul Kelly paid tribute to the work of the three charities represented and added that services in the local area would be much the poorer without them.

Paul said the local club was amazed at the generosity of all the tractor drivers who turned up and gave so generously on a day when the weather was one of the worst of the year.

In reply representatives of the three Charities wished the club every success in the future and  thanked them for their generosity adding that contributions such as these were the life blood of Charities such as theirs.
