The Annual Haldane Fisher Charity ’Fluffy’ Football Tournament.

Once again the Haldane Fisher Family came together for another year to hold their annual charity football tournament in aid of PIPS Newry and Mourne. In memory of Andrew McQuistin who previously worked at Haldane Fisher, the entire company got together on Friday July 5th at Newry Hockey Club to take part in the 10 team tournament. It was a brilliant fun-filled day with bouncy castles, face-painting, a BBQ and music. There were many entrants from the Sales Department, Newry Sawmill Factory, the Timber Yard, Plumbing & Heating and the shop counters division, in addition to suppliers and customers participating. The eventual winners were from Newry Hockey Club, captained by the Sawmill’s James Niblock. A fantastic amount of £600 was raised and all proceeds were donated to our charity. We are overwhelmed every year with the Haldane Fisher family coming together to support our charity and showing a great fundraising effort. We are truly thankful for all your effort. Haldane Fisher would like to thank everyone who attended the event and made it such a successful day. Well done to everyone involved.
